Appearance: As any member of the Bean specie, Fawful's skin is a pale yellow-green, and his body is decidedly curvy in form. A strange sort of antenna pokes out of his head, but Fawful generally keeps it hidden. He has a lot of time to himself to spend working out, so he's fit for his age, but also a bit small at around four feet in height. He only has just enough of his dark hair to make a tiny wisp of a cowlick over his forehead, and his eyes are impossible to see behind the thick lenses of his cokebottle glasses.

Fawful always wears a massive red cloak, which shows in its tattered edges. Underneath it, though, the young bean tends to have a bit too much fun wearing odd costumes; from a pink flying suit to a full Elvis costume, his taste in fashion is truly a mystery.

Personality: This young man is not a nice individual to be around. He's rude, obnoxious, loud, and overall antagonistic. He does not like seeing things going well for others, he loathes the idea of other people happy, successful, or optimistic. Cheery people disgust him. Fawful's conversation skills consist of insults and threats, and very very poor grammar; his abnormal speech and penchant for using nonsensical metaphors manages to baffle others so much that they can't understand a word of his fast-paced raving.

He also has a vast superiority complex, and perhaps nothing irks him past being underestimated, or being treated his age. He resents any and all forms of authority figures, as he feels no one is properly qualified to have any say about what he does. Or at least, no one is of the same caliber as the last person he respected... and he's sure no one ever will be. Though, if someone were to be persistent, and able to deal with a barrage of insults, he may have...some form of... something that...sort of resembles... respect for them.

The most surprising facet of Fawful's personality is his complete and unshakable loyalty. There is one person in the world he shows any respect to, and she can do no wrong in his eyes...even after she has gone. His plans for world domination are not his own ambition, but merely his hope to prove himself to her spirit. Nothing will ever shake him from his belief that she was the smartest, most respectable being to grace any planet.

Put simply, Fawful is a very angry little boy who thinks other people smell bad and are unintelligent, and has an awful mother complex.

Abilities: Fawful is, plain and simple, a complete prodigy. He's a technological genius, able to create anything and everything mechanical, even with little supplies or time. Jetpacks, generators, energy containers, you name it. He can work with computer like nobody's business, hacking and programming is nothing to him. However, he claims that the way this world's machinery functions is different than he is used to; it is certainly not that his intellect has weakened at all, but the circumstances, which are "filled with stupidity and irritatingness," have worked against him.

Aside from that, Fawful's stamina is surprisingly high, particularly for one his age. He can a surprising amount of damage, can keep running for a impressive extent of time, and can lift weights most would find uncanny for one his size. There's nothing superhuman about it, but it is impressive. Yet of late, he finds himself getting winded faster, having more trouble lifting things, and feeling his beatings much, much more easily. Regardless, he masks any weakness he feels as best he can.

Weaknesses: The best possible way to describe Fawful's flaw is that his social skills are poor. He completely, totally, and utterly hates people, and tries to alienate himself as much as possible. But for all his genius and antisocial behavior, he is still a child, and an extremely immature one at that. Though he technically could get along by himself, he can only maintain the most meager of conditions for himself, and really needs someone to look after him if he wants to be in any good sort of condition. Which, of course, is not something he will ever admit to willingly. His pride is eternal, and he will never admit any sort of weakness; only the flaws in things around him.

On top of that, he's a bit of a sociopath. He loves to destroy things, and his homemade collection of explosives can attest to it.

Manhattanite or outsider? Very much outsider.
History: Fawful has no idea who his parents are, why they left him, or what happened to them afterwards. All he remembers is being lonely, cold, and hungry in the depths of the BeanBean Kingdom. And he remembers Cackletta--the most intelligent, wise, ambitious woman in all the lands—he remembers her coming to him and offering him a place to stay. Perhaps she knew of his budding genius, maybe she just wanted to take advantage of his needs. But she raised him, cared for him, and taught him everything he knows today. Sure, she was a bit harsher with him than several would deem appropriate, but that was just because she was raising him to be strong and relentless, like herself.

Cackletta had plans to rule the world, and as Fawful's role model, he wanted to see that her plans had complete success. She knew the story of the powerful Beanstar, a substance of great power that could grant a wish to whoever could unlock its power; but only someone with a voice of purity and perfection could access it. Princess Peach was the only known person to have such a voice, so Cackletta schemed for her and Fawful to visit the Mushroom Kingdom under disguise of peacekeepers from the BeanBean Kingdom. After the successful abduction of Peach's voice, the two of them returned to the BeanBean kingdom, with the Mario Brothers and the Koopa King hot on their tails.

They then snuck into the Castle BeanBean, where the Beanstar was kept. To keep the Mario Brothers out of their hair long enough, they ruined the castle's plumbing, and mutated the Queen Bean into a mindless monster. Whilst the accursed brothers tried to fix the mess they'd left, Fawful helped Cackletta overrun the WooHoo Hooniversity, as a base to unlock the Beanstar's power. Yet when they played Peach's stolen voice to the star, it went ballistic and ransacked their temporary lab. Before they could stop the destruction, Mario and Luigi confronted them, consequently destroying Cackletta's body. With the magic of SCIENCE, Fawful saved her soul inside his headgear and escaped.

Beaten and exhausted, Fawful began to search for a body for Cackletta's soul to inhabit, finally discovering King Bowser's body for some reason beaten and unconscious in the Stardust Fields. Cackletta's soul gladly fused with his body, transforming her into the powerful Bowletta. At first they tried to resume their plot of unlocking the Beanstar's power, but after the Mario Brothers kept up their irritating defiance, Bowletta realized that her superior mind in combination with Bowser's sheer power and armed forces could rule the world without mystic help. They then set about destroying the BeanBean Kingdom from Bowser's flying fortress.

Of course, the persistent brothers Red and Green arrived shortly, to put the Great Bowletta's plans to a halt. They plowed through all her minions, even Bowser's children, until Fawful was the only one left standing between the plumbers and his mentor. The young bean put all he had into his fight, but even with technology on his side, the brothers bested him, and tossed him out into the sea.

The fact that the Fawful survived the fall at all could be called luck at its finest, and that he didn't drown in his battered and weary condition was truly a miracle. But even in his half-conscious state he could see Bowser's Castle blown to smithereens, with no sign of his mistress' escape, and the young bean wished he hadn't made the fall at all. He was without his mentor, the one person he had ever respected, the one woman who had been any sort of parent to him. He had nothing left.

At a loss for how to continue any plot for world domination without Cackletta to guide him, Fawful went into hiding the one place the Mario Brothers would never think to look: deep within the pipes below Princess Peach's castle. To get by, he started a (literally) underground business known as the Bean 'n' Badge, making badges to be traded in for beans (the edible sort, not the species). He has been sitting there in the dark, alone with nothing but his shame and rage, for about a year and a half.
